Tamil Nadu govt announces rejig of senior IAS officers
Chennai: Tamil Nadu govt on Tuesday announced a reshuffle of senior IAS officers, including changes in the finance, tourism and disaster management departments, besides appointing a new managing director for Tasmac.According to a govt order by chief secretary M Sai Kumar, N Muruganandam, who returned from leave, has been posted as additional chief secretary and commissioner of revenue administration and disaster management, replacing P Amudha, who was holding additional charge.M A Siddique, additional chief secretary and managing director of Chennai Metro Rail Ltd, has been transferred and posted as additional chief secretary to the finance department, replacing T Udhayachandran.S Swarna, principal secretary and state project director of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), has been posted as principal secretary to the tourism, culture and religious endowments department. She replaces K Manivasan IAS, who was holding additional charge. The govt also placed the services of K Nanthakumar, registrar of cooperative societies, at the disposal of Tasmac for appointment as its managing director, replacing T Christuraj.
